Is this only for releases after 1991? Because it would be fishy for Madonna not to make it considering how huge The Immaculate Collection was and how consistent her back catalog is.

According to UKmix, she's in the top 30. The Immaculate Collection sold less than 6 million copies through Soundscan but keep in mind that its first four months of sales took place prior to Soundscan as well as another 1 million or so through BMG which counts towards RIAA but not here.

Adele is not even close to making this list. Her 19 album is near 2 million and her 21 album is at 7.3 million. Total: not even 10 million. Can't even go on this website without seeing Adele's name a million times. Not a hater, just stating the truth!
