Erm how am I looking down on others? People can take nudes if they want, it's their life, it's their body. I'm certainly not judging so stop putting words in my mouth please. Taylor can take nudes if she wants, she may even have them, but I doubt she does because she's so career driven, she knows that if they may get leaked (in circumstances like this) that it could potentially damage the empire she's worked hard on since she was a teenager. It's not about "being above" anyone, but because of Taylor's fan base, and her image, I'm pretty sure she's aware of the risks associated with taking nudes and knows that the only way to limit all risk is to not take them.
