Secondly, when you say twee, I equate that with Belle & Sebastian and The Sundays and such. Couldn't be further from it. Sufjan's a lot more twee, by the by.

The New Saviors are actually power-pop. Brilliance. Again, you're excused.

i know right, that last song is like he took a huge chunk out of Music for 18 Musicians
I love the album though, it's one of the (literally) biggest and versatile baroque pop albums that've been released in the last 10 years

btw, The New ****ographers are not what I expected at all, the faster paced songs are really, really good

I think Sufjan made it pretty clear? The influence is pretty obvious and it works as the last track.

Listened to Fiona + Sujan. I liked Fiona, but I didn't love her. Sujan I was surprised to really love a lot of his stuff actually. I gave Fiona one 10 (almost two, but the other song's beginning is too... idk how to explain it chaotic in a bad way?) and Sujan three 10s! So I'm probably gonna be giving everyone at least one 10 each. I'm excited to listen to this Kanye album in full, finally, and then see what all the rage is for Twin Cinema.

Hombre isn't that bad... it definitely isn't a standout though.
