Depending on how well Carrie does, I can see her having the best selling album again. Adele (lol) will be a threat and some other artists that I don't remember, but she has a chance. Sometimes I think she is going to open with 300k+ again, because people are dying for new music and if she debutes at the Grammys, it will slay lives.
If she promotes hard, she'll do it.

I know my thoughts on what her first week sales are always change but I have a few factors that may contribute..
- With Play On being a much more "Christian Messaged" & her "How Grea Thou Art" performance making her open up to more groups of people.
- Soul Surfer if people never heard her sing before the movie I'm pretty sure will give her a listen and opened up new fans to her.
- Remind Me is still doing strong, If it can successfully cross over to HAC it can probably peak just in time before Carrie's 4th album comes out.
- Country albums generally open higher then other genres.
Also if promotion is already starting, I'm sure she'll be hell on heels getting word out everywhere that she's releasing an album and will squeeze performances everywhere possible. I'd love for her to open 300K+ but I for some reason can't seeing it happen as of now. Right now I think a 200-250K opening week is more likely.. but if promotion goes well, has a solid lead single & Remind Me gets good support on HAC maybe 300K will be more than possible.
