Not a "conspiracy theory" per se but I read rumors that Britney had another breakdown in 2010 but her team managed to keep it secret. That would definitely make sense considering her change in personality/looks from the Circus era to the FF era (aka upping her medication).

I remember watching a whole documentary about this when I was a kid and they had a picture of Elvis in the window his room at Graceland in 1985 when that whole area of the house was closed off
