Fox News is the most decrepit institution in the history of American media, and I'm hoping the phone hacking scandal in News Corp trickles over to them. Their whole slant on the issue was just typical cultural posturing that is absolutely of no use to the public discourse at all.

As for Chris Brown, I really don't understand why he's getting all pressed, again. If there's one thing I could agree with in that clip, it's this notion that Chris Brown is the victim of excessive hate and whatever. His career is on a massive upswing right now after an incident that could've irreparably destroyed his life. Instead of appreciating that, he's going on Twitter bitching about anything and everything that criticizes him. He's a celebrity, the hate comes with the territory, and even though the incident is three years old and many have moved on, it will be forever apart of his biography. Frankly, it's turned him from simply famous to infamous.

He seriously needs to hire a PR firm that will help realize all of this, because the ranting has gotten old.

As for his tweet about Charlie Sheen and Casey Anthony, he tried and failed miserably.

Charlie Sheen is the laughing stock of the industry at this point. The only good to come from that mess is that Emmy voters will probably feel sorry for Jon Cryer and give him an Emmy.

And Casey Anthony.....seriously? Like, really though? Of all the people to choose to prove your point, you choose the most hated woman in America?

This what irks me about him, as a person. He talks out of his ass all of the time. I like his music and he's a greater dancer, but I just can't at him telling people to grow up when he's stuck on this 16-year old way of thinking

EDIT: I also find the excuses that Brown's fans still make for the Rihanna incident very disturbing. It's one thing to forgive him for his actions because you feel that he has shown remorse and grown. But to defend them? It's just a very sad statement on our understanding and treatment of domestic violence in this country.

Fox were wrong for the video BUT Chris has shown NO remorse for what he did to Rihanna, and THAT's why people can't and won't move on from it. He's said he is sorry numerous times but then goes and smashes a window?? he is very immature and needs a few years break from the limelight.

Where is his PR when needed? someone needs to change the password for his Twitter account. Twitter is effectively ruining him.

Its becoming ridiculous the amount of effort some of the pressed haters are putting towards bringing his image down, when clearly his fans don't care what he really does as he scored the biggest crowd yesterday at the Today Show. it's exactly what keeps chris relevant though, i ain't even mad!

Fox News was so wrong going to his show and shoving that picture of Rihanna's bruised and battered face in Breezy's fans' faces. So unnecessary and uncalled for, they probably only did such a controversial segment for the publicity.

Breezy is very talented and i like a lot of his music BUT i don't agree with his actions. he really does need to grow up, there are always gonna be people who talk bad about you as a public person, and you just have to learn to deal with it! this twitter rant was unnecessary.

personally i think he's paid his dues for what he did to rihanna, with the industry boycotting his music etc after the incident. its time for people to forgive him and let him move on, and stop raining on his parade....
