Yes because it shows that she is desperate and will do anything to be famous. tbh it was both classless and smart. But the fact that it was smart mattered more, because really no one would have any interest in it if she hadn't mentioned.

I don't really think that it was classless. Random? Yes. Awkward? Very. Smart? Definitely. It was just a little weird that she grabbed the mic, shouted that she was dropping a new music video that night and then walked off stage. But it definitely worked for her.
