Why? Did you listen to his album? better yet did you listen to the 15 minute long "Note To Self"? Like ACTUALLY listen to it?

Jermaine has been doubting himself ALL the time because like the user said he's always been told he wont be as good as his more mainstream counterparts. Having one of the biggest debut weeks of the year and the highest for a rapper when u thought u would fail is amazing and instead of going on social media BRAGGING (which he isn't doing) he is simply stating his opinion more so to the INDUSTRY that u don't have to sell you and your craft short for hits or success. He's sayin that he didn't do any of that and still was able to garner success and he is humbled by it. No where did he drag anybody he's talking about the industry as a whole.
Hell he was at a damn basketball game just hanging out.
