Please don't come up with this as an excuse as GGGB was Rihanna's third album while ITZ was Britney's fourth. And stop quoting sales. This is about impact.

So how exactly are we meant to quantify impact? If you can't include sales of albums, singles, or the amount of number one singles, how are you meant to quantify how impactful the album is/was? Is it how popular the song was when it came out, how much it was purchased by the general public, how many radio spins it got and how high it climbed up the charts? Because you seem to think not. You seem to think 'impact' comes down the biased personal opinions of some people on a message board with nothing better to do but stan for their faves. Of course all these Rihanna stans are going to say "GGGB" and all these Britney stans are going to say "In The Zone." That's bias. It reflects impact so, so, soooo much less than charts and sales do.
I can guarantee you if it came down to it, and it was Beyonce in this poll, you would be bragging about Beyonce's sales and how much 'BEYONCE' sold in its first week, and how all 5 of her individual albums hit #1 on the Billboard 200. You would using them as tools to quantify her success, and prove her impact to others because of undeniable statistics and facts about her career. Guess what? Each fan base has something that they're proud about of their favourite artist so when you try and pit them against each other, they're going to use them as tools to justify their favourite's success and career. You can't pick and choose what you deem "relevant" or "impactful" according to you.
Geez, what is your problem with Rihanna. Rihanna fans love Beyonce. You act like there can only be one black woman in pop music. There's room for more than one. Pop music isn't a competition or a sport. Just because you love Beyonce doesn't mean you have to fight this tirelessly online to invalidate Rihanna's successes or her career in comparison to every other artist under the sun. It's sad.
