Crazy in love, baby boy, naughty girl, deja vu, irreplaceable, beautiful liar, halo, single ladies, the entirety of 4 except rtw and the entirety of her self-titled beg to differ. Like... Partition is ridiculously simple in composition yet superior to anything Lana has ever done.
Critics (and most people on Earth for that matter) disagree.
Thats quite a lie really as I don't think theres ever been an article by a critic(s) comparing the both of them and saying the one is better than the other
fill the page with half the awards
Cuz bitches know im the standart
Standart standart
Flocking around
Flock flocking around
Im showing off
Been showing off my talent
Been serving all this
Serving all good music
Most of the things you said are just nothing more than your opinion though
For example I find Lana's music groovy and to have very interesting everything. And well the rest of what you said is just really why most people like her music they don't care that its pretentious or whatnot, if anything thats part of the appeal
Um, whether or not something has a groove isn't an opinion, it's a fact. For example, the original summertime sadness (which is a rewrite of BTD) has no groove so they needed a remix to make it a hit. When Lana's songs have a groove, it's never clear in the mix either.

Beyonce is more critically acclaimed than Lana (or any pop girl of her generation for that matter)

Nah, you can admit a song is great and well-written/produced without liking it or listening to it often, and vice versa. Eg sometimes I like American Life by Madonna but still admit that in terms of composition, production and lyrics it's the pits.

Ow well perhaps our definitions of groove are not the same then and am quite a fan of Lana so pointing out random stats that I already know to make it look like what she did was any less of an achivement just wont work, unfortunately for you

Lol and my original statement still stands, there has yet to be multiple critics who directly compared the two and declared the other better
I wonder how many of you have really listened to the interview.
They weren't even comparing them. They just have talked about the POSSIBILITY of Lana making a suprise release.
So many of you are doing the most, on both sides and giving passionate haters on both sides room to b*tch around
