I miss being a projectionist. With the new digital era, that job is going extinct. (Even though the Digital projectors are far more problematic, and require more attention that the 35mm ones did.)

That's the ONLY issue the 35mm ones gave. The digital ones are a pain in the ass (they are pretty much like computers.) We even had one overheat and catch fire a week ago.

That or when a strap breaks during a showing. I hated wraps so much. The worst thing that ever happened was when a new projectionist put up a movie unsupervised for the first time and he put it together BACKWARDS, in the wrong order. A fiasco. Oh, and it was Transformers. On opening weekend
