I liked "Settle Down" for about a week - and then everything just tasted sour in my mouth. That album, yikes. But yes - I'm with you on Garbage. Loved the single and the album was decent.

Ive just gotten into that Gaslight track this week - great stuff.
You haven't seen Skyfall? Yowza. That's almost criminal. Nonetheless. Great to see Adele getting the props she deserves.

And of course, no end of 2012 list is complete without Jack White. "Blunderbuss" was big in every way.
