While I understand the desire to make the last season's ratings look less low than they could be, like...what else is Fox gonna have?

Looking at the previous seasons, normal is the finale to be 4 months + 1 week after the premiere.

Last season, all the sub-2 ratings were for the live weeks. Will Idol copy Voice (aside from S9) and do double eliminations each week?

hopefully a girl wins and one that is a fusion of kelly clarkson/ carrie underwood omg like a pop country taylor swift
