So if Taylor sold like 300K in the US, and 300K WW, she'd be global?
You don't get it, she's just too big in the US.

I don't understand why Taylor fans are taking being local as an insult. I mean it's pretty evident . Doesn't take away from the fact that the numbers are really impressive.
EDIT: And 250k WW is amazing too. She ain't as local as people are making her out to be.

Did I say anything about being global or local? I clearly said ratios, that her ratios were bad which is a fact. Gaga and Adele have great ratios when comparing WW and US.
I didn't say Taylor didn't sell outside the US.

250K outside the US is very respectable
The ratio's argument is stupid. Using that logic you could say The Spirit Indestructible or Bionic is more global than Red (no shade).

Born This Way: 668,000 - 1,560,000 = 892,000 copies sold outside of the United States.
Red: 1,210,000 - 1,500,000 = 290,000 copies sold outside of the United States.
United States: 300,000,000 people. The Rest of the World: 7,700,000,000.
And Taylor's fans are coming for Gaga, why? I mean, I deducted Amazon to make it better for y'all
Just be happy for your fave and leave Gaga out of this, ok thanks.

I'm still trying to find the post in which I said she was local.

Especially considering the fact that these sales are missing a lot of countries.

wasnt it the other way around?
remember Gaga is with Interscope and Taylor is with Big Machine
plus it would be her first proper debut in international recording scene.

I thought Taylor was "local" until I saw she sold out most of her international tour dates during her previous tour.

If you're taking the 400,000 in the US from the $0.99 deal then you have to take them out of the 1,921,000 she did worldwide too.
1,921,000 - 400,000 = 1,521,000 - 668,000 = 853,000.

Technically 900K outside the US.
Most importantly, still more than Taylor yet they're trying to drag gaga...

Do the math yourself. Still 3x+ taylor, which was his point. Taylor fans shouldn't be coming after Gaga's global success.
