It's so pathetic. If they ****ing stopped and realized there's other things that's "oppressing" them like their ****** social skills/awful personalities, they'd realize it's not "oppression" keeping them down.
it's their bad skin and internalized self-loathing.
If somebody doesn't like me or doesn't hire me for a job i don't assume it's because i'm gay, but they automatically jump to the conclusion that it's a racial thing.
Meanwhile these whiny ****ers sit there and make ****** powerpoints about how it was a "black thing" and not a "wow your personality sucks" thing.

NO! We are obviously not equal so blatantly ignoring differences and whitewashing the subject doesn't make it better!
You guys have the whole internet at your disposal like goddamn, its like you're fighting to stay ignorant by picking sections out and taking them out of context.

Isn't that racism? Not letting people have your way of life because they are of the another race?

This is just so . Now non-whites cannot be racists? like
God, this REEKS hypocrisy.

I'm not Latino or Asian, but when I joke around with my friends, I use their race's derogatory slurs.
Aside from jokes I don't really see any purpose of it tbh. But that's just me. I'm sure there are some other ways one can use it

When we're not equal, there are superiors and inferiors, what are you implying bro/sis?
And what do you exactly mean by "equal"? How so?
PS: Looks like you wrote this, no offence but you write like **** if you did.

People like you who believe things like this are the EXACT reason why such powerpoints are made.
The fact that you don't acknowledge this just proves the powerpoint right.
I've seen a lot of people come in here and argue against what's presented in the OP,
but I haven't seen one person argue against it and actually disprove it.
You're a primary example and a point of reference if anything.

A right is something entitled to all human beings. A privilege is not, it is an extra. From what I am aware, I have no extra privileges than anyone else around me.
And I have a really hard time believing the bolded part. Maybe in other parts of North America/US?

This person sounds so damn angry.
I get some of what they're saying but I mean Not "I don't see color" being one of the most racist statements according to this person.
EDIT: Deleted the second half of this; I see there's already enough arguing going on here. Stay classy.

It's not my fault you're slow . I really wanna know what is the definition in the Theoyella Jukebox dictionary of the word "equal".
And I mean, that even if the message is acceptable, the way it is presented and shoved down readers throats (who were probably interested by reading the 10 blocks of text) is incredibly off-putting and horrible.

Ugh.
Nobody is actually vouching for racism here (obvs ). But some of these rules are bigoted and hypocritical and strongly reflect the writer's opinion (an argumentative/imperative text should NEVER have the 1st person)

We're not all "equal" in the sense that we are not all the same person.
It's not about superiority like a lot of Whites try to make it.
If I'm a Black man and I stand next to a White woman then we are not equal,
and it goes beyond the confines of skin color.
She can get ovarian cancer. I can't.
She can conceive and gestate a child. I can't
Another thing I can't stand is when Whites say things like,
"We're never going to get rid of racism if we keep acknowledging it.
We need to just forget it ever happened and move on"
So, that's how we solve problems? By just ignoring them and moving on?
Let's just find the cure for HIV/AIDS by not acknowledging it then.
Or when they say things like,
"Oh, I don't see color."
or
"We live in a post-racial society."
No, sis, we don't,
and we need to see color because it's there and there's nothing wrong with it.
My ethnicity is part of my identity. I don't want someone to not see that I'm Black.
I want them to see it, acknowledge it, and RESPECT it.
The issue is not seeing color,
the issue is people seeing it and thinking it somehow makes someone less/more important.

So according to the "PoC's" in this thread it's racist to acknowledge peoples' races, but it's also racist to look past race and see people as people.
And before y'all swarm and accuse me of being an ignorant cracker, I do qualify as a "PoC" according to this PowerPoint.

The good sis Georges speaks the truth.
It's just a ridiculous over the top powerpoint arguing about who can and can't be "opressed" by white people.
EDIT: This is a GREAT point

We are equal in rights for dignity, education, clothing, food etc. You are being too anal about that word. We're equal as humans, we should all be treated the same way without discrimination (something the OpenOffice impress presentation doesn't mention hehe)
I'm not ignoring racism, I'm just trying to see the valid points behind some bigotry in the opinion piece (I'm not arguing about the general message )
PS: I'm not white

I didn't write this. CLEARLY the first slide says by "Jennifer, co mod of wocinsolidarity."
You really don't know what equal means in this context?
And I'm the slow one?

Oh please. When people say they personally 'don't see colour' that doesn't mean that they are brushing the issues of other races under the carpet or disregarding them. They generally mean they don't judge a person based on the colour of their skin but instead by the person that they are on the inside. That's a good thing.
Stop looking so far into things
