Britney's is pretty undeniably the more iconic and remembered one (kii at me saying remembered - that's just what I think it will). Beyoncé's was better though.
But beyonce was definitely lip synching at the beginning of her performance? The vocals didn't match her mouth movement at times. I'm NOT saying this because of my avi PLEASE don't start that with me anyone, but beyonce was incredible and the saving grace of this VMAs but she had many moments tonight she was lipping but again noooot trying to get yelled at here just what I clearly observed
She definitely was lipping tbh.
The Blow performance sounded the EXACT same as the rehearsal.
In all honesty, it's the python that made Britney's performance exciting. Without it, it would be just another standard Britney performance at that time. All this time, I thought she did that performance live because I hadn't watched it in forever and now I see that she was lip-syncing for filth.
