Why do some of you guys keep saying this? It doesn't matter that they auditioned as solo artists. They're in a group, and that's where their loyalty should lie. And no, the rest would not do so if given the opportunity...they are loyal to their group and putting their energy into the new album, which is looking very promising in terms of success. It looks so bad to be off working on (and possibly releasing) solo stuff in the midst of your group's new album coming out, while the first single is smashing.

Also, how come when Normani dropped that solo song "Say It", y'all loved it and showed support but when Camila is on a couple of features it's suddenly a bunch of meltdowns and how essays about how she doesn't care about the group

That was a cover, not an official single that would compete with the groups future material.

Because when IKWYDLS came out they weren't doing anything, now they are. Does that make more sense to you?

All the more reason to be humble, because she wouldn't have been where she is now had she not been giving the opportunity to be in a group (after being rejected as a solo artist). If she's not going to respect the other girls and continue to jump at every opportunity to further her solo career, then none of you should be shocked that people continuously question her intentions or have nothing nice to say about her.

"Say It" was nothing more than a YouTube cover, something all the girls have done on one social media platform or another. Show me an iTunes link, radio stats, or live performances; otherwise, your argument serves no purpose. I'm sure she does care about the group (because it keeps her relevant), but not the girls in the group; and that's why they remain divided. That little facade they tried to put on at the beginning of the era, wanting everyone to feel silly for thinking they were anything but united and strong...please

There's nothing you can say to justify her actions. Between an era or not, the group were nobodies even after WI. Her [or any of them] branching out so early on is not a good look point blank and the period. What makes this worse is that when the other 4 were asked in front of her if they'd do solo songs, they said no bc they were focused on the album/group and she nervously agreed. Months later, here we are again.

Just accept the fact that she's shady and move on and be happy for her. Stop trying to justify her wrongs or place blame on the other girls for feeling the way they do.
