The Queen of Rap always getting hate for NOTHING! What is wrong with her saying that she wished they promoted it more? Is it Iggy's fault Britney or her management don't care about her career anymore? Let's blame Iggy for actually wanting to promote the song.

But YOU started it, girl. It's not """"""THE MEDIA"""""", the tweets do not write themselves and YOU are the only one still centered in answering every damn troll accusation, attack or whatever in every social network. This is what happens when you enter the game of internet trolls, I get that you're pissed because of the amount of hate you get on twitter but you're just making such a big deal out of it and making things WORSE. AND IT'S YOUR FAULT.
Do not come here now saying "but there was no shade in my tweets!!!! it was all good intentions!!!! she's my friend!" when you clearly tried to throw her under a bus and brush off any responsability of the song not doing well. You did not say "I wish I had promoted our single a little more", you commented on Britney's contract in a shady way, you clearly implied that you wanted to promote the song and that Britney was lazy/couldn't be bothered to promote it, and that excuse was a innecesary lie, and now that the media pointed it out and the fans were disappointed in this behaviour, you, again, don't take responsability of your words and say "no, it was actually the media!"
The single was not bad. The video was good. You brought out Britney's attitude from last decade. And we all are thankull to you for that, but let's not get it twisted now. You RUINED Pretty Girls, not Britney because she didn't promote it. You know damn well what kind of artist Britney is and you agreeded to collab with her. You forced her team to release the song even if Britney's record was not ready. You made both teams rush it when you didn't even have a clear direction of the new album and ended up delaying it. I get that you were excited for this and it clearly shows up, but you ruined all of the work with your media management. But well, everyone's has a mismanaged single at one point, but you rarely see an artist throw under the bus his/her co-workers when the project fails and then refusing to take responsability when called out for it. And this is not new, you did the SAME with M0 last year.
CLOSE your damn twitter, STOP paying attention to what everyone says about you and FOCUS ON YOUR CAREER. You are WASTING the spotlight time every artist has with these beefs and ********, deliver a good record that can shut everyone's mouths up and let the music speak for itself. But no, you REFUSE to pay attention to what matters and find it more enjoyable to be the Wendy William's joke version of Twitter. Okay, good luck with that, Iggy, let's see how many people sticks with you in the end. You had me by your side at one point, and I, like pretty much everyone else, jumped the ship like a ****ing CHEETAH when you started to show up these colors, and you are the only one to blame.

She needs to stop, if she wants to keep getting them hits, or even if she wants to be able to tour next year.

*when she thinks the song is going to top the charts*
Iggy: " hahaha guys it's actually a duet! and in the chorus you can hear my singing voice, we on both full force on this! "
*the song is received with mixed reactions and does not well*
Iggy: "i'm honestly feeling so attacked right now, i wasn't even on the song, i was just a featured artists, not my fault guys"
What changed with this, Iggy? Is it the media lying and making up words you didn't say again, just like you claim?

And she still answering everyone on twitter LMAO! That's very low class, like she already lost
Let's all drag her over there! She deserve it, I don't even like britney but I prefer her over this who, it's like in some way britney was doing a favor to work with her and now that the song was a huge flop she feels she was doing it to britney LOL
Sorry but this time I def need to be #TeamBritney

|
She said what many stans were saying is not an excuse; she's an artist -- she isn't in the position of a third party outside observer when giving negative opinions about a situation. When she is speaking on this, she's talking about her partner and collaborator on the song and there are working and personal relationships on the line based upon what she does or doesn't say -- completely different.
And no, she didn't outright and directly diss Britney, but what else is to be taken from that aside from the heavy implication that she felt the song flopped because Britney didn't want to promote? Plus her saying "she doesn't have to lick the woman's asshole" was pretty much a concession that she knew her statements weren't exactly flattering towards towards Britney/her work ethic, anyhow.
You don't have to be a people pleasing robot to have some common sense and discernment in the battles you pick. This was completely unnecessary. Going on social media to air her grievances about the song flopping changed nothing and only yet another wave of bad press and some professional bridges burned for Iggy.
