Are people seriously not seeing the problem here?
A tribute to the movie
Selma is happening with a re-recording of a song Ledisi
specifically made for the movie
that she ****ing starred in while John Legend and Common are also on stage with their song in the soundtrack. Then, the Grammys offer and Beyoncé accepts the performance slot of Ledisi's re-recording while Ledisi is nominated and present at the ceremony. This is also while Beyoncé has a nominated album at the awards and soundtrack songs of her own released. This is, by all rights, Ledisi's performance slot and it is quite accurate to state that it was stolen from her by the Grammys and, by extension, Beyoncé.
I love Bey, but this is wrong on
so many levels, and anyone trying to justify it...
