lskjdla. The exaggerations here tho. She obviously wasn't singing full out. She was showing what notes to hit in the final riff. Not what dynamics or texture she should sing with.

And the riff did sound nice.

It's there...it was on the chorus of "Towards The Sun" this year. Rih is trying to improve on the power of her vocals...which is the weakest part of her vocals. "Pon De Replay Rih" would of nevah attempted those vocals.

Compare Rih's much maligned "Hero" cover back in the day, to this Vine snippet...her vocal control has improved so much. One of the few pop girls constantly working on making ha voice better, and it shows.
