I kind of doubt Britney will take the next step, she has her comfort zone and I see her, or at least her team, sticking well within it. In fact I don't see Britney making another album for quite a while, her contract is up right?

If she wants true respect as an artist she will need to dissapear for a while and come back with an album of Everytimes and absolutely no Drop Deads, don't see it happening though. I personally think Britney wants and needs a break from the spotlight and time to raise her kids.

You know how the first Hangover movie was great, & how the second one did great as well but didn't do any better than the first one? Not to mention it had THE EXACT SAME PLOT LINE?

I think that's a harsh but accurate comparison. If she continues to do the same she'll be successful with it a couple more times but the formula will eventually get tired. There's no defining difference between her past three albums.

To be honest i could careless what haters think of Britney, I enjoyed femme fatale and that's what matters I mean if she wanted she could retire but she still is doing what she wants.

Hopefully since she isn't with Jive and she goes to whatever label she chooses, maybe she will have more control on her work. And nobody will tell her sorry this isn't going to work we want something more radio friendly. She can create a more experimental album, she just need's to be left away from the controlling people trying to make a buck out of her.

I dont want her to stop doing dance songs obviously, she wouldnt be britney without them. But i want more ballads like everytime, shadow, unusual you, and i want her to experiment a bit more with her next album.

But this happends only with Britney? Sorry but i don't see the other girls doing metamorphoses between albums. Bits of things can change but in the end it's what the artist does it better.

I agree with this but I don't know if it is something Britney appears to want right now. I think she wants to be Momma Spears for a while. But maybe the FF tour will re-ignite her want to entertain properly because in my mind she did not enjoy the circus era and she has made enough money to not need to do anything that she doesn't enjoy doing...it will be interesting to see what the next few years bring.

I'd love to see her re-invent herself as an artist, perhaps use a pseudonym to win over the haters then piss them off when she admits it is her.

My thoughts exactly. Like on "4" -- Beyonce gave us Countdown....and Love On Top.

Britney can still "give us MORE" -- but throw in some more songs with substance. Lyrics, true emotional songs with feeling.

Yeah she will most likely take a break after the FF era is over and continue on doing what she loves and that's being with her kids. But she did say during the MTV interview when asked if she would take break that she would have a little time off but not a long one so i'm assuming there's more up her sleeve.

Not really. Britney said that she cant live without work, even during the break between circus and femme fatale, she was in and out of the studio recording songs for the album, and she recently said that she's only taking a short break after the tour.

I want the other girls Britney is commonly compared to thesedays (Katy & Ke$ha) to grow a lot too. If I get another several Teenage Dreams I may get a toothache. or another Animal:Cannibal.

Not ginormous changes - but growth & more involvement. Something even Rihanna should do more of. GaGa, Bey, & Ke$ha are the only girls really involved with their music now. Not sure about Katy.
