Confessions On A Dancefloor sold 5 million copies in 12 weeks I remember. It took The Emancipation Of Mimi 24 weeks to sell 5 million. Madonna is the faster seller.

The only chance Mariah will have of outselling Madonna is if she *****s out 5-7 singles, as usual Madonna will lose interest in promoting the album and focus on the tour whilst Warner Bros will focus on the Greatest Hits package.
I think and hope Mariah's people will realize it's time for an upbeat single (Migrate) after Bye Bye (which has lost momentum and probably peaked). That will revive the album and then she can release some of the other amazing songs that never included Bye Bye
