The landmarks (Big Ben etc) might be, but when you're in London you find something new everyday and there are so many 'hidden gems'. Plus it has to be the most diverse, cosmopolitan city in the world. Living in London literally feels like you have the world on your doorstep.
And please don't even mention NYC and London in the same sentence; NYC is just an overrated tourist trap.

London is basically an overrated tourist trap as well.

How is NYC ever going to expand/get better when its stuck on a tiny
little island. It is past it's peak.
London, however, has grown and evolved for the past 2,000 years, and is still the most powerful influential, relevant city in the world. Plus, it gave the world Jessie J.

It's the most 'global' city out there, but it ain't the most livable. That spot is taken by my home city, Melbourne.

No.
The borough of Manhattan is an island. New York comprises of Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx. You are clearly not familiar with the geography.
IDK HOW the **** a city that has only been around since the 1600s is supposed to "expand" more than a 2000 year old city.
Isn't NYC larger though?

I know that I have been to NYC many times. The only relevant/remarkable/nice borough is Manhattan let's face it, and that just can't grow.
London has been relevant for 2,000 years and always will be. And it is hard to say which is larger because US cities are measured in a different way to UK cities so no one really knows...
Oh and by growth I am not talking about size I am talking about growth in all aspects (economic, infrastructure, population etc).

London has not been relevant for 2,000 years. First few hundred years it was just a Roman city, then it was an overpopulated mess filled with the plague, its only time to shine was maybe for 50 years. Paris was in the spotlight for the majority of the time, followed by NYC of course. London has always played second fiddle to NYC, Paris, and Tokyo. And with Rio de Janiero coming into the picture, London doesn't have a chance. Its a flop city.
