Their biggest money makers are Meghan, 5H and maybe Sara Bareilles now, but they don't seem to bring enough money for them to put more investments in other artists

getback, Fifth Harmony is NOT above Ciara.... There sales are both around the same but Ciara has a bigger background and way more radio and streaming power.
When they have over 23 million records sold; for starters then we can talk comparisons.
They have a solid plan this time around compared to 2012 where Sweat, Sorry, AND Got Me Good were all scrapped They let I Bet build up a great audience before releasing the video, recorded an acoustic, etc. There's already a tour planned.
They're not perfect but they've come a long way. They do have to work on promotion and marketing though. We'll see how that turns out though.
I agree, they certainly improved. Meghan debut is very impressive.

Sara went Platinum
and profit for Epic is not divided by the number of members
Meghan is their big Pop act and Ciara is their big Urban act (who can sometimes crossover).
Their biggest act out of the acts named.
They know it and they support her; they know it's not just single or album sales that will bring money. Ciara is a brand.
