Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if DH is the #1 song of 2014. I keep forgetting that its chart life will date back to the beginning of the tracking period (December 1, 2013) whereas Happy didn't appear until mid-January.

It received less than 2 million YouTube streams last week.



This includes the first 24 hours, which would be about half of what's shown here.

It also sold rather poorly. Didn't make it into the top 100 of iTunes, and it doesn't have a lot of airplay either (even decreasing in AI today)
