This is the way I expected Jay to react. He's sensible and knows what he's doing. Obviously he can identify that this was a really bad move from Rihanna.
Any way this article isn't much of a surprise to anyone as we all figured he would be annoyed by Rihanna's decision to go back to Chris.
But that's before he had a daughter. He's changed now. After Blue Ivy was born, he also swore not to use the B word anymore.

If a father could do one thing to make the world a better place for his newborn daughter, what do you think it would be. World peace? Safer streets? Financial security? In the case of rapper and business mogul, Jay-Z since security and finances aren’t pressing issues for him and his family, and world peace is out of his control there is a small change he can make that would have far reaching impact — stop using the word “b—-.” Jay-Z is all to well aware of the influence his musics and his lyrics have on the actions and attitudes of youth here and over seas. Also, anyone know if Jay-Z likes Chris? I've never seen them interact.
Jay was really right. The collaboration is a bad move for her career. Rih can forgive Chris but thats about it. No need to collaborate just to bring out some gimmick and sell her album.
