That's a damn lie. Thankful is her worst. There's only 3 good songs on it while most of AIEW was pretty decent. But AIEW was def the most over produced album Kelly has ever put out

Stronger is doing pretty well considering it only has one single out, especially since its not her usual "anthem" song. Too early to tell how much more successful it will be until a few months time (or at least stronger - wdky is finally released)

Her vocals on Thankful make up for any of the cheese factor. AIEW has no redeeming qualities besides the 3 bonus tracks.

I'm not a fan of an album full of radio ready songs. Or albums with 20 different producers on each track. I only still enjoy a handful of those songs

I'd be pleased if she decided to have a shift in sound for the next album, though. Ceremonials doesn't seem to add nothing really new to her music. She doesn't need to make it more comercial, just... a little different.

There are some really good tracks on it, of course, but I don't know... I'm still not crazy about this album like I was with Lungs.

Why are people so over dramatic ? The album is only out for two freaking months. MKIA wasn't the best lead single but it was still a hit and let the album sell close to 500k.

Kelly is a album artist and a lot of people tend to forget that.

The second single is getting released soon and only when that flops, then the era is in trouble.

All I Ever Wanted is indeed her most overproduced album of belly since tedder and howard are al over that mess. The only reason why this isn't my least favorite album of hers, is because Already Gone and Suck are in it.

Thankful is a huge filler album and my least favorite album of hers.

Thankful < All I Ever Wanted < My December < Breakaway < Stronger

Personally the first single has been lackluster and Kelly is not an A-lister anymore.

To sell 420K off one single which has sold 900K is pretty damn decent.

Remember Jordan Spark - Battlefield sold 1.5M, yet her album sold 200K. Clearly there is still demand for Kelly.

In all honesty though, I think My December is her best album. And nothing in Stronger comes close to the brilliance of Already Gone. All I Ever Wanted is a stronger pop album imo

It's sold over 1.1 million copies worldwide so far. Yes, I thought it would have sold more in the holiday season but it's not bad. Well it's already been certified Gold in the US with just one "horrible" single, lol. It's 74k away from 500k.

To put a little perspective-- 3 pop girls, same label, been in the business for a decade
Avril: around 300k in the US - with 3 singles
Britney: close to 700k(anyone know the exact #?) in the US - with 4 singles
Kelly: close to 500k - with 1 single

Avril's at 1.3 million WW though and Britney's at 1.4 million. I think Stronger will probably sell about 1m WW and 600-700k in the US I think
