Yeah I think that having two videos in one category could damage her chances of winning the category as her votes would be split.

Because their rules don't allow that. The label has to select TWO videos to be nominated if the artist has more than two eligible ones.

I'm not familiar enough with the VMAs to make an educated guess tbh. How much integrity have they shown in the past? Would they actually pick her best video, or would they just say, We need to nominate a Lady GaGa video, let's just go with her most recent stuff.

I don't know, but they're weird. I mean, they gave Britney three awards for "Piece Of Me", but never awarded "Toxic" or "I'm a Slave 4 U".
