I know most of those people, but Madonna is much bigger than they ever were. It's like how GaGa fans give her credit for popularizing today's dance-pop/electronica scene, but there was a ton of artists making those records and having success with them before she was even a thought. We all know Madonna isn't the first artist to shock people.

There were even rumors that she was a man, and then came Paparazii's VMA performance in 2009 which will probably go down in history as a memorable performance in VMA history. Just stop

2nd, Xtina's VMA 08 performance was inspired by The Black Cat and Storm from the comics. Because she had a blonde bang everyone jumped the, "She's copying Gaga bandwagon."

Just Dance came out in April 08 and the poker face video was released wayyyy before it took off. Gaga did not get famous until Xtina's 08 performance and you Gaga stans can deny it all you want too.

Fairly certain no one accused Xtina 08 of being Gagafied. Gaga wasn't really huge during the 2008 VMAs
