I forgot about Boulder. I don't think of Colorado as being part of the interior west for some reason, which makes zero sense. Although I think Flagstaff might be slightly more hippie than Boulder, because my impression is that the hippies in Boulder are of the pseudo, upper-middle-class variety, as opposed the granola and ganja variety in Flag.

The UK edit has some poor fat slob finding some running shoes on the side of the road and taking them. As punishment, the shoes get onto his feet and give him Restless Leg Sydrome and cause him to run nonstop, only occasionally stopping to look at some girl runners. He finally loses enough weight to slip out of the shoes after collapsing, only for someone else to take them.

The US edit has Daniel Merrieweather lipping in a bar while some girl wanders on the streets. Meanwhile, everyone everywhere is crying blue crayon teans drawn onto the film, which flow everywhere and make their way to Daniel, who is slowly covered in the bar by the tears (as is everyone else).
