Most pop songs arent masterpieces...but they break records anyway. I love BTW but masterpieces are songs that you can still remember 20 years from now(Gaga will leave that to edge of glory and judas )

okay i admit, when first time i heard it, i was like what the hell? it doesn't match the hype, but actually it grows on me.
about the succes, it really makes me sad cuz BTW can go easily to #1 meanwhile her masterpiece Bad Romance struggling to reach the top spot, even stuck @#2
And you know why? Because is a damn awesome feel good song and people relate to that.
Dispite some pressed stanbases the world ate this track because is danceble, because is happy and bacause it has a good message.
It may not be her best work, but it definetly a masterpiece. Because she promissed an anthem for our generation, an anthem for the people who don`t feel like belong and she made it. A amazing dancing record that makes everyone wants to dance. God knows i danced this while i was driving today.
So, wheter you like the song or not it made the success bacause it`s a phenomenal track and yes, bacause is Gaga, It probably would flop if Christina sang it.
She is the it girl and if she sings about gays or "hold it against me" she will sell more thah the others. But you can`t take the success of the track itself. It`s an amazing fell-goog song.
These haters are terrible. Now that Gaga owns everything they are gonna say 'It's just because it's Lady Gaga'. **** Off, she's not Britney Spears, she'll never be. She's talented and she earns everything she acomplished. Born This Way is an anthem and is the best POP song in decades.
