But why are we going to pretend that it was such a good thing? Romanticizing these events and eras do not in any way make up for all the evil that happened then and all the evil that it manifested into society today.
I just read those articles about "greed is good" and i am disgusted.
They're romanticizing genocide and greed by implying that's just what hard work looks like and telling poor people they're poor because they're "not greedy enough." Those were their actual words.
and it gets worse. they also redefined the statement "the pursuit of happiness" to mean "the act of fulfilling your greed."
I am absolutely appalled by these statements. since when do you have to be greedy to be happy? absolute rubbish.
