What d'you expect for a break-up anthem? Some colorful, glittery Lisa Frank-ish video? Or some strolling and dancing at the club or park saying how girls are so fabulous and can do better than those guys who have wronged them, that they just wanna have fun all day long?
It's an edgy break-up song for everyone's sake.
The military theme symbolizes her journey to being strong again, building up the courage and confidence again that was taken from her by her ex flame. Are you expecting for her to find that out in a sunny beach or some cheesy video disco club where there are so many new guys to choose from and dance around with, then at the end sleeping with them at their place?
