Age 7 tho? I really believed her and was sympathetic about her during the early stages but now she needs to stop. I don't want to say something that might not be true but Demi should move on from that incident. It was a dark part of her life but she needs to stop talking about it 3 years later.

Can you all please stop hating on her? She has the liberty of telling her story to the world, who cares if she keeps reiterating it 2 years later, her story could still help someone else going through the same stuff as her. I get that the writers of these articles may ask Demi to discuss her problems BUT isn't enough just enough. She has been talking about it since the release of Unbroken and it's just overkill at this point. I believe she wants to help people but she also wants to keep selling her sob story, the same sob story that NOBODY bought the first time at all. She will probably still be talking about this 5 years from now, poor thing, that will be her trademark.

Think for a second( if you are capable to do so) if she was doing this for attention and according to you it hasn't done much for her career then there's a bigger reason why she's still talking about it! It helped bring mainstream exposure to her, without a doubt. Do you think she would have even been considered for The X Factor had she not exploited her past issues? Not to mention a lot of Disney fans probably dropped HA after the rehab incident so it exposed her to a new audience, which is why she won't stop. Addressing all the idiots in this thread rn.

First of all, a kid doesn't need to know what "suicide" is to know that it is possible to "kill" oneself.

Second of all, kids around the globe DO commit suicide and are suicidal. This shouldn't be shocking.

Even if it isn't, so what? Kids handle things differently, like in that link I posted above of a 9yr old commuting cause of jealousy. No one has the same threshold and grasp on handling things. Demi could have easily been suucidal for all that we do know, and for **** we don't know about.
