Probably around 6/7 years ago, when I was about 7 years old, my mom called my neighbors son a bitch. We were close neighbors though, and we always called each other "bitch" or said "f**k you" to each other in a playful way. But something must've happened that day, maybe it wasn't my neighbors day, or maybe she was angry, but she SNAPPED. She immediately came over to my house with a knife, and tried to stab my mom. All me and my friend could do was hide behind the blanket on the couch.
Can you believe, that this woman who tried to kill my mom, only got a week in jail?

Panthera - I live 5hours from Pt Lincoln. That is scary as hell, glad you made it out ok. There are so many sharks out that way our local beaches always have shark patrols. As a kid I swam with a pod of dolpins, not realising that was a sign sharks are close by lol
When my sister, her bf & I moved into an appartment, my sister saw a mans/ghosts face & it disappeared infront of her. Her bf often heard noises during the night. The spare room always had a hot, weird smell & had a uneasy feeling to it. nothing ever happened to me until a week before we moved out, I was falling asleep one night & the window shutter slammed wide open. I jumped outta bed trying to close it but it wouldn't, it as if something was preventing it. I ran downstairs & my sister/her bf & I all heard the door slamming in my room then it just suddenly stopped. I slept on the couch that night
As a child, after my grandma passed my other sister was living at my grandma's unit my aunty owned. My grandma walked by her room as I was sitting down next to it. My sister saw her too.
I also stayed in a haunted castle in Scotland, never been so freaked out in my life by the stories let alone they chose the "haunted room" for our group to sleep in.

I have yet to experience a really scary thing in real life but my dreams are ****ed up like ****
I was at a camp once and that area was haunted . What happened there is a long story. But everyone there experience something. Some saw things, some felt things and some heard things.
I for one saw and fell things, Somewhere in the bushes I saw a figure of a human starring at my friends and myself. The moment I saw it, I got goosebumps. And later that night I woke up at 5 AM and my heart was pounding like crazyyy !! I just felt there was something close to me.
Now a freaky thing happened. I was so scarred that I didn't want to go of the bunk bed. All the guys where in one big room in bunk beds. I was at top of one bed and next to my bunk bed was my best friend sleeping. I called him and he held the phone in his hand, looked at it and turned it off. Then I called another friend and he did the exact ****ing thing !! I called about 5 more people and they all did the ****ing same thing !! I was scared as **** !!
In the morning I asked them why they did that and they said they didn't. I checked their phones and there were no received, aborted or miscalls from my numbers !!
One guy got a miscall of this number : 8000000 ( six zeros)
We called back but no one answered.

In 6th grade, me and my friends would stay up late at school to hang out. Our school had 5 levels, and we always stayed on the 5th floor so no one would find out that we're still there. One time we did the spirit of the glass **** as we were talking about the rumors of 3 students who died on the same floor 20 years ago. All of a sudden, this janitor with a long dark fuzzy hair came out of the door that we seriously thought was a storage room that has never been opened for years. Apparently, that's where he lives and he's one of the few witnesses who saw the the crime at the school 20 years ago. Really freaky ****. We've never gone beyond the 3rd floor after that day

Okay, my scariest moments are nowhere near as scary as some of the ones in this thread.
I don't think I've ever had anything supernatural happen to me in a creepy way, but I've had some weird, sad experiences like that: people dying after I had dreams about death, etc.
Once I was driving on the highway with my mom and sister when there was an accident somewhere up ahead of us. A tire from one of the cars got loose and bounced in our direction; this giant truck in front of us swerved, and the tire came within less than a foot of our car. As far as I know, no one there was injured and I don't think the accident was that serious, but it was terrifying in retrospect since almost the exact same thing had happened to my parents when they were first married, and a guy driving near them died. That's probably the scariest thing that's ever happened to me.
And when I was younger, I think I was in middle school, some old family friends were having a reunion on Long Island. There were a lot of kids my age there, so some friends and I went down to the beach to look out for the younger kids playing on the playground. There were these really sketchy college age kids just sitting on the swing set being creepy, some of whom we had seen around town before. Of course when we were walking home, my friend's sister decided it was a good idea to shout "SEE YOU FREAKS LATER!" at the top of her lungs. All of a sudden, one of them just gets up and starts running as fast as he could in our direction. I don't know how far he actually followed us since we all ran without looking back, but we were all really afraid; he was much bigger than us.
Those probably aren't that scary, but I guess I should be thankful nothing really horrible has happened to me in my life.

The scariest would have to be when I was visiting my family in Southern Australia 2 years ago. It was just me and my dad visiting, (My uncle and aunt lived right near Port Lincoln), so one day they suggested we go swimming in Coffin Bay. They were barbecuing on the Beach and drinking beer, it was about 6 PM. I decided to go for a quick swim, since I hadn't gone yet while everyone else had.
I remember when my feet touched the water that I just felt something was off. I felt clammy and Idk I can't really describe it, it was like someone had just told me something tragic, but everything was fine. Anyway I went further until I could actually swim and stopped feeling the rocks under my feet. The sun was starting to set, and I remember hearing my dad yelling at me to come eat, and that it was getting dark.
I ignored him and swam a bit further out and decided to see how long I could hold my breath, (I was currently a swimmer at my HS back in OH, so I needed to practice holding my breath since I was horrid at it.) I remember I had to clothes my eyes when I was below the water because the salt burned. It wasn't more then 30 or so seconds that I was under water that I felt something rough brush my arm; I could have sworn it was a rock.
Immediately I freaked out and went above the surface, and looked all around, expecting my dad or uncle to be playing a trick on me. Saw nothing but the reflection of teh sun on the water. Now that I was freaked out I decided to go back to shore since I was hungry, and began swimming back. I hadn't gone a foot or two before I saw something out of the corner of my eye. A dorsal fin.
I freaked the **** out as soon as I saw it, instantly knowing what it was, but since I was ****ing obsessed with shark week, I knew not to panic. The thing wasn't more then 5 feet away from me, and it was just swimming in circles for the time being. I tried calling to my family, but of course the dumb asses didn't hear me. I started to swim slowly towards the shore, while I kept my eye on the fin.
As I got closer to the shore I began to swim faster as I thought I would have enough time. I quickly looked back to see the dorsal fin and make sure it was still there, but the fin was gone. That's when I felt something knock into my leg. I don't even remember what happened next, but I kicked with my right leg and swam like mother ****in Kunta Kinte and soon I felt the rocks under me. My dad obviously saw what happened and he pulled me to shore, just as what I now know was a White Pointer practically beached itself on the rocks trying to bite my ****ing limb off.
I wasn't hurt except for a slight scratch from its fin on my leg, but I easily could have been killed. The thing must have been 10-12 feet long. In fact just the past month my uncle told me about a man who was out scuba diving with his son, and all of a sudden disappeared. His son watched as the White Pointer carried his dad out to sea in its jaws, and never saw him again.
I guess I was lucky? Sorry I know most don't want to read this ****ing essay I just wrote, but I like detail I guess.
