but lesbians and gays and bisexuals ... etc ARE different from one another because of their sexuality (and or gender); if you're going to make a new flag just because your skin color is different then you're literally segregating based on skin color within a community that has enough segregation WITHIN itself already, do you fail to see the flawed logic ?

It is a triangle. A symbol associated with the LGBT+ plight for decades now. If you knew any gay history, you will have had known this.

So telling that ATRL thinks acknowledging anything not white is "segregation".
Good for the black gays.

Because they think doing so makes someone a SJW or a "tumblrite".
Tragic, really.

And will say that we hate ourselves and are jealous because they don't want to date us. But when we create lanes for ourselves, suddenly racism within the LGBT+ community isn't a big deal anymore. Girl I'm over it.

Many white gays: "We don't want you, black gays!"
Black LGBT people: "Ok. Well, bye."
ATRL: WHY ARE YOU SEGREGATING YOURSELVES!!!!

I'm a 'spice' (hispanic) and honestly I have never seen anyone post those things on Grindr And I travel around North America 3-4 times a year to different cities and always open it. Maybe literally once or twice. But I always, always see the same users going on about 'no spice no rice no blacks ATRLers kii kii racist whytes!!!' on this site. It's really not that widespread of a phenomenon, people know that in 2016 posting that isn't acceptable and won't get you laid.

intersectional identities is in fact a thing, certain people in this thread.
Like, let's say you're in a queer space with 99 people and all the rest of them are white but you're not. The specific issues and life you live on account of being a qpoc is, in fact, different from theirs even if you share certain aspects.
It's not segregation to celebrate minority representation, especially since in QPOC spaces I've gone to, white people are Totally Welcome too to support and understand said specific issues. And yeah, white people are the minority in those spaces, but it's not like that's something they have to be every day in most other places.

the problem with this is when lesbians made a new flag then bisexuals followed up and made their own new flag ... we knew that every other sexuality or gender is going to eventually make their own flag, BUT when you make a flag specifically for the black community within the LGBTQ+ community then it might lead to Asians following up with the same thing and making their own, would that be considered racist ? no ? then what if Caucasians did the same ? HOLD UP ! oh nooo that's racist !!!!!1!!1
hence why not only is this unnecessary; it'll only lead to a mess !

There's quite a bit of dynamic within the LGBT community that needs addressing as seperate issues. Now riddle me this, big neck, do you partake in many community activities embracing problems within the Black LGBT community? If not, then why are you segregating yourself?

The lashings you've been serving this thread Every post has been nothing but hot tea.
Why do white people get offended when black people want to point out their race? It seems easier for white people to simply say 'oh you're only making things worse!' as opposed to actually acknowledging why something like a black LGBT+ flag is necessary to begin with...they seem more upset about the possibilities of 'segregation' than the reality of it.

First of all, I'm black.
Second of all, yeah, racism and discrimination exists within the LGBT community as well as the world. Still thinking the flag is unnecessary, SORRY if I'm OFFENDING anyone, I just don't get it.

Why are some people saying this is "segregation" though? There are flags for literally everything under the queer spectrum. There's a bisexual flag, lesbian flag, pansexual flag, bear flag, there's even a flag for that puppy fetish where they wear those leather masks These people aren't advocating for separate establishments and the things that constitute actual segregation as far as I'm aware.
