Badlands sounds very contrived and what you usually hear from the typical "edgy" alternative singer.
She's literally a label puppet meant to cater every starter teen listening to alternative which isn't a bad thing, but she doesn't bring anything new to the table and is feeding off of Lana and Lorde's success she paved for her and soon to be upcoming alternative female singers. She just happens to be the most basic one out of the cookie mold
