Nothing could have saved Disappoint. She didn't put any effort into that album and didn't even choose good producers to run an album on autopilot. I like to think that if the blacklist hadn't have happened neither would have that album.

I agree 100% with all of this.
Discipline is her worst album (not bad but for her standards yeah) and the reason you pointed out shows that. Not to mention Jimmy and Terry weren't involved and she had randoms write for her
I lowkey think a Gaga assisted single at the time could've saved the era just a bit, the sound of that and Gaga's debut pretty much match up so a Telephone/Video Phone moment would've been cute and a hit for sure.
Also I just looked up 20 Y.O. and found out she was gonna tour and all
I'm so mad she cancelled all of that for Discipline
I wish she had gone and did the tour maybe then it wouldn't have been such a rushed half assed mess.
