No, even though TRL isn't the same what it used to be, it will always be one of the most classic, memorable shows on MTV, it will be a shame if it got cancelled.
Good point, but it has really suffered. About 6-7 years ago, TRL was my favorite show....now look where it's ended up. It's behind Survivor, Big Brother, Poker shows on TV, Around The Horn and Pardon The Interruption, game shows, Amazing Race, Jim Rome Is Burning, Sportscenter, even Charmed! I could go further but it's not worth it.
Either fire Damien next week or cancel the show entirely. It's not worth watching this show anymore!
Either TRL needs a revamp or cancellation. The only thing I seriously care about TRL is the MTV News update, and for the sake of predictions scores, for them to fall into exactly the right places. Also, bring some more Rock/Alternative/Latino to the mix, and expand it to the top 15 w/On-deck every day!
Hip Hop Police is actually a pretty good hip-hop song, which is a surprise, I don't mind that staying in the top 10, however Ayo Technology **** needs to go.
^It is Chamillionaire is the best lyricist in the game right now and not to mention that song had no hoes not to mention it didn't have any girls in there at all and no jewelry no dumb lyrics like A Bay Bay and no money (**** you 50 Cent)
^ Yeah that's why i probably like Hip Hop police because it doesn't talk about the typical subject you hear in other hip-hop songs. I will only like rap/-hip-hops songs if they only talk about real life issues. I enjoy listning to Common as well
It doesn't matter if Chamillionaire sucks or not, TRL needs to get cancelled. "Hip Hop Police" reaching retirement is a pathetic reason for not wanting the show to get cancelled. Check my post in the TRL thread about what they need to do starting October 1st, with On Deck and such, or else they can just stop.
