If you really want one, then go for it. Some of my friends have one and I've used theirs a few times, and I was semi-impressed. It's pretty much a portable computer with a cell phone and like an i-pod. It's just a package of everything in one.
In the end, if you financially are able to buy one and will be okay with money after you buy one, then go for it, otherwise wait a little bit longer.
