Well I don't think it's genuine on either side. They are both using passive aggression and condescension ti's just Taylor decided to make a PR move to take the high road.
By Taylor not apologizing for the retweets/favorites etc. Taylor comes out on top.

That's the point. It was equally as condescending but they both do that.
Because most of the people on ATRL are in the minority so they agree with Nicki pulling that card.
Yes Nicki pulled the race card.
yes Nicki tweeted about pop girls (plural) breaking records which both taylor and miley did and using sex which miley did but it's more impactful to use race than it is to focus on body image as their is irony in the body image discussion.

As much as I like Taylor, I do believe what many believe in her insincerity.
It took way too long to address it so PR came into play
Regardless Taylor looks like the bigger person because people will still think anaconda was a video of her shaking her body but if it was a video of more substance and meaning they'd defend it a bit more.

Taylor would look bad not addressing it. She did the right thing. Had Nicki woman'd up she would be equally looking better and the only person that would look extra is Katy.
now the weight is off of Taylor and she looks to be the bigger person.
