Never heard that term. Always known that AustraLIA is both a continent and a country, with the area that many know as OCEANIA is part of the continent of Australia.
In the USA, we're taught that we are the center of the world, so technically there's only one continent and it's called THE GREATEST CONTINENT IN THE UNIVERSE: THE UNITED STATES OF THE FREE AMERICA WHERE THE RICH WHITE PEOPLE ROAM.
So according to USA schools, where am i living if i'm from Mexico? North or south ??
From the North American Free Trade Agreement, I'm going to have to assume North America. I think they're considered part of the North continent. Don't quote me on that, though.
Well I'm from New York in the UNited states of America ( in north america) where I learned that there are 7 continents. I guess some countries do it differently
