Never said I was a vocal specialist and critic. Never said I was musically educated. Never said I could sing. But I know the basics. And because I know the very basic basics, it's very easy for me to see when someone is not getting them right. As simple as that. And yes, I know she has had a vocal coach since the iconic Grammy performance. He's called Brian something (he works with Haley Williams too) and he's obviously not doing a good job with her (or she's not doing a good job with him). And yes I know critics have been calling it the best vocal performance of the tour, but when I watch the tour videos, I see a lot of straining.

TSOF is being mocked here due it having the most generic sound/production of all time. Of ALL TIME. Add the fact that it's the biggest flop of her discography (a desrving one) and everything just piles up.

It's odd to call TGOU's production generic when WANEFLOP, 22's production could literally be handed to Carly Rae Jepsen, Rihanna or Avril and no one would bat an eye.
Plus TGOU slayed my region,like I still hear it today.
TGOU slays, just because it flops doesn't mean we shun it. This isn't the Rihanna base.

Saying that her vocal coach is not doing his job well and that she needs a new one is not being mean, it's caring about her and her voice. Cuz (SURPRISE!!!) if she keeps on being an untrained vocalist, she'll end up like Christina Aguilera vocally. Xtina's fans kept saying that they don't care about her oversinging and using bad technique, now look at the state of her voice. Over the long run, this is going to hurt Taylor. I actually care about that and there's nothing wrong with saying that.
