For a music forum you guys lack in music knowledge....One rap song isn't influenced by the other rap songs that came before it because not all rap is hip hop,not all hip hop is the same..Bey's upgrade u,etc are NOTHING like the more aggressive Rih songs like PIU,Birtday cake,etc.
I don't blame you guys thou,when even the supposedly professional publications like billboard don't know how to differentiate genres and sub-genres there really is no hope for you guys to know better..

yes. the only songs i ever really enjoyed from BEYONCE were partition and drunk in love. i liked haunted but i got bored of that straight away, and i grew tired of dil and partition too although i still bop occasionally. so in my opinion, rihanna's new song IS better than any song from Beyonce's new album and you thinking i'm wrong won't change my opinion..
