Literally me. My mom called me downstairs crying today about all of this and it really hit me that I'm not safe. No matter what these racists say, no degree, proper grammar, college degree, or how I wear my pants is going to make me bulletproof. They will shoot to KILL and get away with it because they know they can.
I'm just having difficulty coming to terms that I live in a country in 2016 where this is happening like this. Nothing has truly changed since the Civil Rights Movement. It's just a different era full of lies and excuses.
