lets get it! Time for the top 100 songs of the year. Same format as first 100 for 100-51.
#100: Crazy Frog - Axel F
-I felt it was only appopriate to split the countdown with Axel F. This song gets about an equal amount of hate and love (though more hate now). I went crazy back in the summer when I first heard it. Seriously, the Beverly Hills Cop them rules.
#99: Young Jeezy ft. Mannie Fresh - And Then What
-BOOM BOOM CLAP, BOOM BOOM CLAP. Benji made me listen to this song, and I thank Buddha I did. It's so incredibly catchy from all ends. Mannie Fr-Fr-Fr-Fresh is awesome on it as usual. Jeezy's album barely missed the top 45, cause it truly is good.
#98: Finger Eleven - Thousand Mile Wish
-They were going for another One Thing here, but they failed, because this song is actually good. Well One Thing was good at one point, so I cant hate too much. Give this song a listen if you haven't heard it. Then you will see why it is top 100.
#97: Relient K - Be My Escape
-Switchfoot Part 2. Another Christian band who puts a song out that isn't appreciated at first, then months later will be adored. I saw them at the Warped Tour, and didn't know any songs besides this one. Did I care? Hell no.
#96: Nelly ft. Paul Wall, Ali, and Gipp - Grillz
-Couldn't find an image with all of them. Stupid google, anyone got a better site for video caps? Anyways, this song is very high considering I just heard it last week. Sure it's been out for awhile, but I was ignorant of it's amazing pressence. Perhaps if I had heard it before, it would be even higher, or lower. No tellling how long it will take to get sick of it, if ever.
#95: The Rasmus - No Fear
-Rasmus had a stellar return this year. I think their new album is better than the last one, but they have nothing on it to top In The Shadows (top 40 last year, don't know the exact number). I think the singers voice has gotten less annoying. It's actually tolerable throughout the whole album. I dunno what they released after this, so this is their only song on the countdown.
#94: Fort Minor ft. Styles of Beyond - Remember The Name
-Image is weird, I know. This was Mike Shinoda's first song released, though it didn't turn out to be the first single. That's why it is below Petrified. Had it been the first single Petrified would not be here at all. Though I think Believe Me would've been the best first single. I heard they were releasing it next, hope that's true.
#93: Motley Crue - If I Die Tomorrow
-This song is surprisingly low considering how much I loved it at the beginning of the year. But then it did what so many songs do, it got old. It's still good, and top 100 worthy, but if I liked it as much as I did back in January, it would easily be top 50.
#92: The Killers - Smile Like You Mean It
-The Killers had two songs on last years year end countdown, and thus they shall have two on this years. This was once my favorite song on the album. Now I'd say their other single is. Weird how these things change. Look for it a bit higher up. How high can it go is the question we must ask.
#91: The Offspring - Can't Repeat
-I thought this would be another fun, kinda silly single from The Offspring like most of their previous first singles had been. I guess they wanted a song they could play at the Warped Tour, rather than be played on MTV. Well it worked out nonetheless, Can't Repeat is awesome.
and thus the first 10 have been posted. Do reply if you would.

will I get this thing done before New YearS? probably not
#90: Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor
-I can not wait for their album, or even the next single, When The Sun Goes Down. I think song is only their first step towards greatness. I got kinda tired of it for awhile, but it's great again. Obviously that's why it is in the top 100.
#89: The Starting Line - Bedroom Talk
-Any song with the first line of the chorus being "I'm gonna tear your ass up like we just got married" can not possibly be bad. Especially when it comes from such an emo band as The Starting Line. Nice and simple does the trick sometimes.
#88: The Strokes - Juicebox
-Reptilia is still their best song, but now they have a couple others to go with it. The Strokes have definitely improved to the state where I can call them a good band. The album is out at the beginning of January, and it's damn good. Go listen to it now.
#87: System Of A Down - Hypnotize
-First of many System of a Down appearance in the top 100. Hypnotize was a different approach for them to take. At first, it was like, "what the **** is this?". Soon, however, you accept this new kind of System. It's still not as good as the songs they released off Mesmerize though.
#86: Ying Yang Twins - Wait (The Whisper Song)
-Wait till you see my dick, eh bitch? This is one of the dirtiest songs to ever be released, and it was a huge hit. It wasn't even severly edited like another dirty whisper song higher up on the countdown. Just dick, bitch, and beat the ***** up.
#85: The Games ft. 50 Cent - How We Do
-The Game and Fiddy's last appearance on the countdown. How We Do is the single that started it all. I still wish he would've went with Higher, but this worked out fine for Game. Dre produced it, that's why the beat is so awesome. I think this might have come out last year, but I don't care.
#84: Slim Thug ft. Bun-B - I Ain't Heard Of That
-H-Town's first song in the top 100. Slim Thug says LeBron James in this song. Any song that hails the King will be high on the countdown, keep this in mind. Well, no other songs do, but if you know another song that hails the King, do let me know. Six in a row for the Cavs!
#83: The Dead 60s - Riot Radio
-Sad that the song that ripped off the catchy riff is higher than this. That's the way the music world works. I got into the Dead 60's cause they played Weenie Roast. Their album is nothing to fret over, but it's still worth listening to if you haven't. RIOT ON THE RADIO!
#82: Audioslave - Your Time Has Come
-CUUUUBA. Audioslave's first song is a weaker version of Cochise. Still good though. Despite the whole album being protooled, I still have to pay respect to the music. Good solos make good songs, and this song has a great solo. Look for them again with an even better solo.
#81: Backstreet Boys - Incomplete
-BACKSTREETS BACK, ALRIGHT! Well, maybe not. I give them props for not really changing their songto fit in with this world of hip hop. This goes along with their best song, I Want It That Way. Cept, only AJ and Nick sing on this. Whatever works.
and ten more down. I'll try to get to 50 tomorrow, so I can make it to #1 by New Years.

surprises indeed! There's more of those to come, but hopefully not in this update.
#80: Transplants - Gangsters And Thugs
-It's hard to tell if these guys are rock or rap anymore. They do either genre justice, so I guess it doesn't matter. Their album Haunted Cities came out in June (?), and was a dissapointment at first. It still never reached the level of top albums of the year. Gangsters and Thugs was a good first single, just because. I hope their next is What I Can't Describe.
#79: Maximo Park - Apply Some Pressure
-Another one of those bands from the U.K. that are always so good. I ****ing loved this song back when I first heard it. I still love it now. If you haven't heard it, put it on your MDN (must do now, I made that up) list.
#78: Stereophonics - Dakota
-As I said in the album portion of this countdown, I didn't like Stereophonics until Live 8. This was pretty much the song that did it for me. Dakota is fourteen kinds of awesome. I don't even know what that means, but it's a true story, no lies, proven fact.
#77: Fall Out Boy - Dance, Dance
-And here's a band that everybody started hating once they got popular (except by those who only like what is popular). Classic story, band gets a hit, band gets hate. Well, eat me apple bitches. Fall Out Boy have one more song higher up on the countdown. It involves antlers, that's my only clue.
#76: Chris Brown ft. Juelz Santana - Run It
-My second favorite #1 song of the year. A good #1 song never ever gets old, and unlike We Belong Together, Run It never did. Neither did the other #1, which should be extremely obvious. Lemme see if you can run it run it, girl indeed I can run it run it. Usher and Chris Brown should do a song with Luda, Lil Jon, and Juelz.
#75: A Perfect Circle - Passive
-This was their second single off of eMOTIVE, and was also on the Constantine soundtrack. It was in the movie too. When Keanu was walking in the bar it was played. I was like, "Hey, it's Passive!" and then people said "Shut the **** up!". That didn't actually happen, I lie sometimes.
#74: Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God
-I only put their two American singles on the countdown, because I was unsure of what songs they released and which ones they didn't. Although they only have one more song here, it is very high up, possibly in the top ten. Anyhoo, this was a good song to release here, even if it didn't blow up like it should've.
#73: Snow Patrol - Chocolate
-I can't believe I didn't make Run top 50 last year. That song is still so good, it's crazy crazy crazyness. This one is great too, and a good followup to such a brilliant song. It came out right at the beginning of the year, and I almost forgot about it. This is the straw, final straw.
#72: 30 Seconds To Mars - Attack
-I saw 30STM with MCR back in September and they were damn good. Would've been better if they played Edge of the Earth, but oh well, you win some, you lose some. I sure do abuse the comma in my descriptions. Back to 30STM, they rule. A Beautiful Lie rules. The song A Beautiful Lie rules, should be next single.
#71: Revered Run - Mind On The Road
-Yes, Rev gets two pictures. He is part of one of the greatest groups of all time (not just hip hop) so he deserves it. Anyone who says Rev sucks should get shot by a bunny on speed. He even got Trump to appear in his video, that takes some serious pull. The Donald is a busy guy, saving the world from Martha Stewart.
and thats the end of that chapter. Ok that was lame as hell. Just reply, and say good things will you?

again with the pudding
#70: Bloc Party - Pioneers
-This was not a single in the US. And no I didn't **** up, Pioneers and Helicopter have the same video, therefore that cap is right. This is Bloc Party's first appearance of 3 on the countdown. Keep that in mind as we head towards the top 50.
#69: Kanye West - Diamonds
-Weird how Kanye can turn a song about African slave labor into a hit song. I thought America was scared of that kind of message. Guess it doesn't matter when you've got Kanye singing "throw your diamonds in the sky if you feel the vibe".
#68: Muse - Stockholm Syndrome
-Muse had two songs in the top 50 last year, this year their only one falls a bit short. I think Muse are supposed to have an album coming out next year. Should be awesome, as they can only get better. They've got the awesome opening riff down for these type of songs.
#67: Paul Wall ft. Big Pokey - Sittin' Sideways
-H-Town's second song in the top 100. Paul Wall displays how good his flow is in the first single off The People's Champ. Still not catchy enough to be in the top 50 though. Will the other H-Town stars be there? Just wait and find out.
#66: Coldplay - Fix You
-First of two appearances from a band I used to despise. They turned it around with this album, putting out 3 good singles (Talk didn't make it, cause I dunno why). This song bombed everywhere for some odd reason, but it is truly awesome.
#65: Death Cab For Cutie - Crooked Teeth
-First appearance from one of my two favorite bands of the year. Crooked Teeth ends up so low because it isn't even a single yet. Longitivity can up a songs value. Crooked Teeth hasn't had a chance for that to happen yet. Death Cab shows up again, but you won't see them for awhile.
#64: The Used - All That I've Got
-Almost forgot about this song. Good thing Fuse reminded me with their crazy ass year end F-List. This is The Used's only song on the countdown. I never much paid attention to I Caught Fire when it was released, so it misses out. Shame, it was a great song. This is better, still.
#63: The Mars Volta - L'Via L'Viaquez
-This song in it's entirety is so much better than the ****** ass 4 minute cut that went to radio. Why do people insist on cutting up the Mars Volta's work. It's so brilliant the way it is. L' VIA! Sounds like Ellian doesn't it? I thought so to until I looked it up.
#62: System Of A Down - Question
-More System of a Down for you. More on the way as well. System can never have too many songs. Best part of this song is the random outbreak of "LALALALLALALALALLALAL". True story. Also, Sam from Lord of the Rings is in the video. All the cooler.
#61: Horse The Band - Birdo
-Horse The Band rule, there is no escaping this. This is another one of those songs I'm gonna regret putting so low a year from now (if not sooner). But right now it falls into the #61 slot. Go get the album immediatly, it's awesome beyond recognition.
and more will come he said
