Beyonce is notorious for regularly stealing ideas and songs from collaborators and claiming them as her own. The most egregious example is when she found BC Jean's song "If I Were A Boy" on MySpace, re-recorded it and put it on her album without giving Jean any credit. She and Matthew Knowles even aggressively acquired the publishing rights so she could claim writing credit. BC Jean didn't even know that Beyonce had stolen her song until the single leaked.
The worst part is that Beyonce refuses to address any of these blatant acts of theft.
