Honestly, Kelly Clarkson is the most consistent artist of the 2000's by far. All of her albums have sold pretty well, and even ten years later, she still manages to score a #1 single.

And people love to say that only Australia is "obsessed with her. But none of their faves are being obsessed over to the same degree in any country as Pink is in Australia and that's the truth.

I'd say she's also bigger in Germany and all Germany-speaking countries than anyone else in any other country.

Britney is rather consistent as well. Her latest record sold about 1.8 million, which is a respectable amount considering how badly albums are selling now. She also scored 3 top 10 hits and her two biggest radio singles, I Wanna Go and Till the World Ends. Also, the Femme Fatale Tour which is her 2nd highest grossing tour (67 million grossed WW).

Why the 'EVEN' like it's something extremely impressive?

First Greatest Hits albums by Artists tend to sell well. I mean, Britney's first GH sold 6-7 million with two moderately successful singles and not a single performance.

She's called an "underdog" and "underrated;" that's a nice way of saying, she's middling. She's not famous for being bad, but she's not famous for being good. She just... exists.

There's nothing wrong with stanning for her. It's just irritating when Pink stans try to make her out to be an icon when all she is really just a pop musician (not a pop icon).

- Stupid Girls was played before a Sarah Palin Story very recently.
Thats the difference. Other girls receive coverage for breaking up, or making money, or having a break down. While P!nk's music gets attention

The point of this thread was to discuss if Pink is one of the most, if not the most, consistent artist of the 2000's. Pink has been around for 12 years. And although she has not slayed or been massive she has been consistent enough to amass 12 Top Ten hits and has managed to sell well with her albums. There are countless artists who started around the same time Pink did who are no longer making an impact. As of today, Pink has a Top 10 hit in the U.S. She IS consistent. Deal with it!

But you don't have to have a country *obsessed* with you to be consistent.
Consistency isn't about how obsessive or if people pay attention to you.
