To answer the OP, the answer is "no". She's coming for her best album so far.

Not really. Some people genuinely are let down by this album Not everything comes down to people being "pressed" as you put it.

She's purposely serving a richer demographic with this album. While I hope it brings her critical acclaim, I don't know if it will leave the impact that her camp intends. It isn't the genre bending infusion of musical eras that Born to Die was.


I'm disappointed that "****ed my way to the top" sounds like it belongs on Tapestry.

Beautiful songs though. Sure they'll be used for one or two soundtracks in Hollywood.

I'm a huge huge huge huge fan of Lana and all my friends knows it... But after listening to the previews... It's too boring. Everything sounds the same and I don't get it. Born to die is perfection... But maybe after hearing this album in full I will think differently.

I'm not sensitized to pop music. I just find this effort a little audacious, in respect to the demographic her team targeted with Born To Die, and now very transparent.

Paradise's release schedule and the slow weening from BTD makes perfect sense, now.
