#10. The Fame – Lady GaGa (2008) 98 plays
Ms GaGa has some infectious tunes. She got top ten hit after top ten hit and I’m in awe of her.

#09. All For You – Janet Jackson (2001) 105 plays
The first Janet Jackson album I bought is filled with great R&B tracks. Real sexy songs too.

#08. The Velvet Rope – Janet Jackson (1997) 115 plays
Probably Janet’s deepest albums, this pop masterpiece makes me want to cry. The songs are emotional and I relate to them really well. It was her first commercial disappointment (in the US), selling slightly more than half of her previous effort, janet.

#07. Forever Your Girl – Paula Abdul (1987) – 119 plays
She may not be a judge on Idol anymore, but this 80s superstar is still one of my favourite artists. Her songs on this album are great, especially the non-single, Next To You.

#06. Best Of – Hilary Duff (2008) 121 plays
The second compilation of Hilary Duff, the album has two new songs. Reach Out and Holiday are both great tracks, but what really pushed this album was all the great songs which I grew up with.

#05. Spirit – Leona Lewis (2008) 123 plays
The second biggest of album last year in my opinion. It’s novelty hasn’t worn off yet and I still get the chills every time I hear “Bleeding Love”.

#04. Janet. – Janet Jackson (1993) 126 plays
My third Janet Jackson album is her best selling worldwide. All the songs here are great songs to listen to on a lazy afternoon :P I’ve done that a lot!
Top 3 tracks: If, That’s The Way Love Goes, Again
#03. David Archuleta – David Archuleta (2008) 299 plays
Notice the vast difference between #04 and #03? Yep, that’s how much I love David Archuleta. The album is filled with great pop songs, but I hope the next album will be filled with more ballads.

#02. Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 – Janet Jackson (1989) 305 plays
Ah, the second album I bought from Ms Jackson. It’s a great disc, and the lyrics are really empowering. The Knowledge talks about the importance of education while the chilling Livin’ In A World They Didn’t Make talks about violence. Socially conscious music at it’s best.

#01. I Am…Sasha Fierce – Beyonce (2008) 445 plays
The album shoots all the others out of the park. It’s filled with so many good songs. I personally prefer the I Am…portion, but who cares! It’s a great album, and to all those people who say it’s her worst effort, screw you. It’s her best effort yet.
